Remove the Back Cover
Remove the back cover using the slot on the top left of your device.
Charge the Battery:
Your device is powered by a rechargeable, standard Li-Ion battery. A USB charger (charging head and USB cable) is included with the device for charging the battery from any standard outlet.
The battery comes partially charged. A fully discharged battery requires up to four hours of charge time. You can use the device while charging.

Verizon recently launched the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for their Samsung Galaxy S5. That provides many of the new features that can come just like that of Lollipop as well as its own tweaks and enhancements. Customers may immediately notice Materials Design which adds fluid animations and themes to the operating system. Shortcuts for Phone and Camera are now available from the lock screen which will display Material Design-inspired notifications and allow users to set priority and privacy for notifications displayed on the lock screen. Music controls will be displayed as a card to maximize the use of screen real estate. System Update While You Are Roaming
If you are roaming you will not receive a system update notice. To update your device while you are roaming, you will need to be in an area where Wi-Fi is available.
- Begin by enabling Wi-Fi on your device.
- To enable Wi-Fi on your device, go to “Settings” > under Wireless & Networks, touch “Wi-Fi ON” to enable (if not already enabled)
- Touch “Wi-Fi” to view and select a Wi-Fi network. Once you are connected, an update notification will appear on your device. If the system update fails to install, you will get an error screen. However, this only
means the software did not install properly. Remove and re-insert the battery and power the device back on.
